NECESSARY REQUIREMENT:
The playwright (theatre), choreographer (dance), or composer (music) must be Iberoamerican since the mission of the Festival is “to preserve and enhance our Hispanic cultural heritage in the United States. Adaptations of classics made by Iberoamericans, are also being accepted.

The Festival is not responsible for cargo costs. Minimum set pieces should travel with the Company in order to avoid delays at the Miami International Airport. Caution should be taken about what may be included in luggage due to ever changing traveling regulations of all major airlines.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

1.- Text of the play, via e-mail (if possible, in English too).
2.- Authorization from the playwright, via fax (signed by the author).
3.- Authorization from Sociedad General de Autores y Editores, if the playwright is a member of SGAE*.
4.- Three best production pictures in high resolution (color jpeg), via email.
5.- Most recent DVD of production.
6.- Reviews, programs and other printed materials of most recent performance.
7.- Media list (print, radio and televisión) from your city and/or country.

* Theatre groups presenting works written by members of SGAE, should contact: SGAE at 212. 752-7230 to negotiate a royalties contract.

The International Hispanic Theatre Festival of Miami is not responsible for these negotiations nor for payment of any royalties fees.
